QRCodeKey ADA Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: April 2026 | Effective Date: April 21, 2026
Our Commitment
Jal Technology LLC ("QRCodeKey") is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are working to make our website and mobile applications accessible to everyone and to provide equal opportunity to enjoy the goods and services we offer, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and other applicable accessibility laws.
We view accessibility as an ongoing effort, not a one-time milestone. We continually evaluate, test, and improve our service.
Conformance Status
QRCodeKey strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard recognized by the US Department of Justice and adopted globally as a baseline for digital accessibility.
Current status: Partially conformant. The site meets most Level AA criteria as confirmed by our internal self-assessment dated April 2026. Some content may not yet fully conform; see "Known Limitations" below. We are working with third-party accessibility specialists to perform a comprehensive audit and to obtain external conformance verification.
Accessibility Features Implemented
QRCodeKey includes the following accessibility features:
- • Keyboard navigation: all interactive elements (links, buttons, forms, modal dialogs) are operable via keyboard alone.
- • Screen reader compatibility: tested with VoiceOver (iOS, macOS), NVDA (Windows), and TalkBack (Android).
- • Color contrast: text meets WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text).
- • Resizable text: the interface remains usable when text is resized up to 200%.
- • Responsive design: layouts adapt to mobile, tablet, and desktop without loss of functionality.
- • Text alternatives: meaningful alternative text is provided for images and icons; decorative images use empty alt attributes.
- • Form labels: form fields have programmatically associated labels and error messages.
- • Skip links and landmark regions for assistive-technology navigation.
- • Reduced-motion support: animations respect the user's
prefers-reduced-motionpreference. - • Focus indicators: visible focus outlines on all interactive elements.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content may have accessibility limitations. Specifically:
- • Interactive maps: the Leaflet/Google Maps interface has limited keyboard and screen-reader support; an accessible address-list alternative is provided alongside.
- • QR code scanner camera view: live camera scanning is inherently visual; we provide a manual code-entry alternative for users who cannot use the camera view.
- • Third-party embeds: Stripe checkout, Razorpay checkout, Google Maps, and OpenAI chat widgets follow their providers' accessibility levels, which we do not directly control.
- • Older browser support: some accessibility features may not function fully in browsers older than two years.
If any of these or other limitations prevent you from completing a task, please contact us using the methods below and we will provide an accessible alternative or accommodation at no cost to you.
