QRCodeKey Does NOT Sell Your Personal Information
QRCodeKey (operated by Jal Technology LLC) does NOT sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. This has been our policy since the launch of QRCodeKey and continues to be our commitment.
Your Rights Under California Law (CCPA/CPRA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to:
- • Opt out of the sale of personal information: You have the right to direct a business that sells your personal information to stop selling it. Since QRCodeKey does not sell personal information, there is no sale to opt out of.
- • Opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising: QRCodeKey does not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.

- • Providing and maintaining QRCodeKey services (QR code generation, tracking, notifications)
- • Processing payments through Stripe (we do not store your full payment card details)
- • Sending service-related notifications (email, SMS, push notifications) that you have opted into
- • Improving our service based on anonymized usage analytics
- • Complying with legal obligations
We share your information with the following service providers strictly for the purpose of providing our service — not for sale:
- • Stripe: Payment processing
- • Twilio: SMS notifications
- • MongoDB Atlas: Data storage
- • Google Maps: Location display
- • Render: Web hosting
Other US State Privacy Laws
In addition to California, residents of Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Texas (TDPSA), Oregon (OCPA), Montana (MCDPA), and other states with consumer privacy laws also have the right to opt out of the sale of personal information and targeted advertising. Since QRCodeKey does not sell personal information or engage in targeted advertising, these rights are already honored by default.
International Users
For users in the EU/EEA (GDPR), UK (UK GDPR), Brazil (LGPD), and all other jurisdictions: QRCodeKey does not sell your personal data to any third party. Your data is processed only for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy and with your consent where required.
If Our Practices Change
If QRCodeKey ever changes its practices regarding the sale or sharing of personal information in the future, we will:
